Don Webster


Don Webster is a native Oklahoman whose interest in wildlife has greatly influenced his work. Although most of his career has been in the field of music, he feels a relationship between music and sculpture.


He earned music degrees from Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma University and studied sculptureat the University of Tulsa. He was a high school band director and public school administrator before becoming a full time artist.


Don has been a guest artist in the National Academy of Western Art Exhibition at the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. He is a member of the Society of Animal Artists.


Don's work is beingshown in galleries across the United States. His Pieces are in public and private collections in the United States, Canada and Europe. Don and his wife Merlene live in Pryor, Oklahoma.
